- How can I send the boat details, photographs and boat documents via email?
Once you have entered into the profile page, scroll to the bottom and you will see a "letter" icon appear. Once you tap on it, it will open an email and you just have to type in the address.
- How can I upload a document?
To upload a document you have to first take a picture of it. Once you have entered the page you need, you can insert it as an image under “add photo”.
Alternatively, you can enter the page, tap the camera icon, and take the picture directly.
- How can I analyze my boating expenses?
The "expense report" page automatically gathers together all the costs inserted into the app and divides them by year, then by category. The graphs supply a visual review of the expenses and their division by category.
- How can I personalize the fields of the maintenance profle of my boat?
In the ordinary maintenance and refitting pages there are three extra fields to personalize: all you have to do is tap on them and personalize them. Please Note: The titles will be duplicated in all the related profiles for every single year.
- What can I do if I have a lot of ordinary or extraordinary maintenance and there are not enough fields?
In this case there are two possibilities: use the "Note" field (at the bottom of the page) or use the "Extra Expenses" page.
- How can I change the currency?
The currency viewed is chosen by the app based on the device settings. Go to "Settings", "General", "International".
- Saving data
BoatNote's data is saved like all other installed apps : just synchronize the device with iTunes (wireless or USB cable) or activate the backup on iCloud.
